I am thrilled to be participating in another blog hop with the Canada Inks Up! Team. This month we were challenged to use products that will be featured in the new Annual Catalogue that launches May 4th, 2021. As demonstrators, we are allowed to pre-purchase selected products before the launch...I chose to purchase the Quiet Meadow Bundle (with co-ordinating dies).
For the background (Basic white cardstock 4x5.25), I stamped dots in Soft Succulent and repeated stamping off to get shaded speckles. I also stamped the word background on the bottom.
I then used the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder to give this layer texture.
I used the dies to cut a label out of Fresh Freesia cardstock
and used the same colour ink to stamp my sentiment.
I tore a strip of Soft Succulent card stock that is 4" long and roughly 1.25" wide. This piece I attached above the word stamp and below the dots on my Basic white background.
I used Fresh Freesia Open Weave ribbon to make a bow.
I chose a few of the flowers from the Meadow Dies
and cut them out of Soft Succulent, Fresh Freesia and Evening Evergreen cardstock.
You'll see I also die cut the half butterfly,
adding Wink-A-Stella to give my butterfly some shimmer.
This is my favourite on so many projects!
I put the elements together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Dimensionals.
There is some amazing products in the new Annual Catalogue
beginning May 4, 2021.
