S.I.P (stamps, ink and paper)

Today's blog features a simple formula to creating cards... SIP or stamps, ink & paper. 

For this card I chose the 'Fancy Phrases' stamps set,

The ink that I used came in the form of Stampin' Write Markers in Calypso Coral, Balmy Blue, Pear Pizzazz and Highland Heather.

The technique for using markers is quite easy, you simply colour the stamp the way you like and rehydrate it with a simple 'huff' of breath before stamping on paper. I then stamped this on a piece of Basic White that was 3 7/8 x 5 1/8.

I did this for both the floral image and the sentiment.

I attached the basic white onto a piece of Calypso Coral 4 x 5 1/4 and then onto a Pear Pizzazz card base 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4.  

Like so many cards I make it needed embellishments so I finished it off with some Gold Glitter Enamel Dots
