Canada Inks Up! Team Blog Hop October

This months blog hop theme is punches. I am a stamper that loves anything that makes it easy to create pretty simple cards...and punches sure do that!  I made the following card fairly quickly and can recreate it using different colours so that I have a great set to give as a gift.

I am featuring the In-Color Fresh Freesia and pairing it with Basic White. Measurements are written for your reference and I used the Tasteful Textures Embossing folder on the smaller white mat.

I chose different patterns from the In-Color DSP
and then used the Rectangular Postage Punch to cut four pieces.

I adhered my layers
and then mounted the postage stamps
leaving a larger space in the centre
to wrap the Fresh Freesia ribbon around and tie.

I just LOVE that I can rely on Stampin' Up! products to match,
whether it be ink or paper or ribbon or embellishments

Dragonfly Garden is probably one of my most used stamp sets
(I might even have blogged about it in the past)
And the punch makes it so simple to cut out the beautiful dragonflies!

Of course every dragonfly should have a touch of Wink-a-Stella

I stamped the sentiment using Fresh Freesia ink
onto a Basic White rectangle postage stamp
and then used my Blending Brush
to ink up the edges creating a border.
I popped up my sentiment using dimensionals
and then stuck on my dragonfly.

Here's my finished card!

Please HOP on over and check out my fellow demonstrator blogs...
