This month our team blog hop challenge was to highlight the new
Stampin' Up! 2021-2023 In-Colors.
As a simple stamper, I love using ink in a variety of ways and knew that
sponging a background would make a stunning display of the new colours
and how they work together.
I paired this with the Expressions in Ink Suite.
To make the background, I randomly sponged all five In-Colors
(Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen and Polished Pink)
on a piece of Basic White 4"x 5.25"
Once finished, this got attached to a standard card base in Soft Succulent card stock
measuring 8.5" x 5.5" scored at 4.25"
I chose this beautiful image from the Artistic Dies
and cut from Soft Succulent card stock
and then I attached it to the sponged layer using Multipurpose glue.
To add dimension I stamped and cut the three small flowers
from the Artistically Inked Stamp Set
(and Coordinating dies) in Pale Papaya, Fresh Freesia and Polished Pink ink.
I then adhered these using Stampin' Dimensionals and Multipurpose Glue.
A simple Happy Birthday (from the Artistically Inked set) inked in Soft Succulent
on a scrap strip of Basic White, sponged edges and adhered with dimensionals.
A little piece of ribbon and my card is complete...
an easy yet lovely way to highlight the amazing new Stampin' Up! 2021-2022 In-Colors
Please take some time to see what the other wonderful demonstrators have created...
