Canada Inks Up! April Blog Hop

Hello my crafty friends. Today our blog hop offers a taste of some products available when the new Annual Catalogue launches on May 3, 2022. I am so excited to see a larger selection of images for masculine cards so I am showcasing the new 'Brewed for You' stamp set with a small sample of He's the Man DSP and a simple technique I saw on Facebook using blends&window sheets. My card is fairly straight forward as I prefer a simpler look.

Once I'd selected the stamps/dies I wanted
I cut a standard card base in Crumb Cake measuring 8 1/2 by 5 1/2
and scored at 4 1/4.

Then I leafed thru the new He's the Man DSP,
look at these amazing masculine patterns...

I cut a piece 4 by 5 1/4 to layer on my card stock base.
Then using a different pattern cut a strip 4 by 1 1/2.

I stamped my images/sentiments onto Crumb Cake
using Early Espresso ink.

Here's the 'technique' I saw someone do on Facebook.
I grabbed a scrap of window sheet
(that happened to be laying on my desk)
attached adhesive sheet to the back
(so it would be easy to stick on my card)
and coloured it with Stampin' Blends
(So Saffron and SU200 from the Natural Tones)

NOTE: give it time to dry before the next step!

I used the Brewed dies to cut out both my images
and the coloured window sheets
(you'll see why at the end!)

All cards need embellishments...
yes even those for the men in your life 😉

So I decided to unravel the Frayed Ribbon and add it for texture.
Are you anxiously awaiting the reveal of my design?

OK, here's my card...

As a fan of craft breweries this set was top of my list
so I know it'll get a ton of use!
Thank you for checking out my blog 😊
